Many WESA Members have expressed an interest in doing something more and meaningful to recognize Ryan's life and contributions to WESA and the community.  We reached out to Ryan's family and they suggested these organizations/causes that were close to Ryan's heart that Members could consider making a donation to:

1) North Shore Women's Centre (or local equivalent)

2) QMUNITY

3) Kid's Brain Health Network

4) SPCA

A celebration of Ryan’s life will be held Saturday, 29th June at the Second Beach picnic shelter in Stanley Park from 9am to 3pm. It is with sad and heavy hearts that we respond to the loss of one of our own, Ryan Tripp.  After many years as a Member, Team Coach, and Volunteer, Ryan had enormous impact on our league as a Champion of the values of friendly competition, inclusion, and connection to the community.  As a Leader in WESA, Ryan inspired countless others with his kind and generous soul.  Ryan, we love you.  You will be greatly missed. ~ WESA 2024 Commission on behalf of the West End Slo-pitch Association
