Members are free to register for the division of their choice. However, once teams are drafted, no player may switch divisions. It is important for new members to trully think about which division best matches their skill level. While both divisions are competitive due to the nature of sport, the C Division is geared to those with a more consistant skill level, while the D Division generally has more new players and overall lower skill level. If you are unsure which division might be best for you, please do not hesitiate to contact any of the WESA Commission, as a quick conversasion is often enough to help you in your choice. Players (who register for the main draft) are permitted to register with a "Buddy", this means that you can now play on the same team as you friend, co-worker, lover ...etc. As long as you and your buddy register in the same division and each player requests to play with the other. WESA is part of NAGAAA and each year two teams from our league (1 C and 1 D team) attend the Gay Softball World Series which is held in a different city each year. The 2010 Gay Softball World Series is being held in Columbus, OH, while 2011 is being held in Chicago.
